Mountain Meisters Postponed Due To Weather
CONWAY, NH – This Weeks Mountain Meisters Race has been postponed. According to Mountain Master Coordinator Captain Ray Gilmore the Race for Week thee and the Gibson Cup has been delayed till next week due to yesterdays weather.
Capt. Gilmore said in a Facebook Video “Conditions like this will result in large ruts, and undue risk to our guests in a race course”…Underneath is not going to set up, so we will ski you into ruts that are 3 to 4 feet deep. It’s not worth it. This is a community race league and we’re here to have fun”
It isn’t all bad news says Gilmore adding “skiing after a rain storm, usually provides for some great skiing & riding; just not racing.”
Cranmore will be open for normal operations Wednesday and Meister Passes are still good for those who wish to hit the slopes. All Day Apres including music by White Steer from 3-5 is still on as well.
Those looking to get some training and racing in still can at the NASTAR racing this weekend, along with Meister Clinics on Sunday & Tuesday.
